Trainer — Taylor Perugino
Taylor Perugino has been riding competitively since she was nine years old, and has had the opportunity to train with many greats of our generation; Ralph Hill, Michael Godfrey, Karen O’Connor, Peter Gray, and others. These experiences have instilled in her a strong appreciation for quiet, ‘no-gimmick’ riding and the development of both horse and rider in a fashion that increases confidence, athleticism, and enjoyment!
Taylor is pleased to call DTF her home and looks forward to creating a student base in the Athens area. She is focused on classical foundations for both rider and horse, and strives to create a solid working communication between rider and horse. The greatest satisfaction of teaching is the sight of a happy horse with a quiet and capable rider who work together as true partners on the cross country course, through a dressage test, or even negotiating the backwoods trails.
Flexible schedule, traditional, classical foundation, competition experience at recognized trials in GA and FL, limited western experience, experience bringing horses back from injuries, interested in working with everyone, with any horse. English or western riders welcome!
